Angry Birds Action Launched

Rovio is thrilled to introduce to the world the fast-moving pinball arcade smasher Angry Birds Action! – the focal point for a whole new kind of 360 entertainment experience that Rovio is orchestrating together with its partners.

LeEco 7.5 lakh Superphones sold out in a flash

The newly launched Superphones from LeEco garnered an unprecedented 23 million registrations on LeMall.com that eventually saw the global internet conglomerate sold out a total of over 7,50,000 units of Superphones. The sales accounted to a whopping 910 million RMB (around 140 million USD) on LeMall.com and other platforms from the opening up of its official sales at 10am on April 26, 2016, in Beijing.



Le Max2 got sold out in just 57 seconds whereas, Le 2 was sold out in 8.26 minutes. The official sales of Le 2, Le Max2 and Le 2Pro and the 4th generation Super TVs kicked off at 10am, 26 April (GMT+8) on LeMall.com, JD.com, TMall and LePar Stores.
   
The second generation Superphones are the first in the world to revolutionize and replace the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack with the USB Type-C audio port supported by CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) technology, entirely disrupting the changeless headphone industry.

Coolpad Introduces Multi- lingual Update, Unveils 13 Languages

Coolpad has announced today the availability of regional language user interface and applications for its Indian customers. The language includes Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.



The regional language support will be available in the last two phones that the company launched over a period of 8 months which are the Coolpad Note 3 & the Note 3 Lite.

Nextbit To Launch Its First Smartphone ‘Robin’ In India Soon

San Francisco based Nextbit, the creators of “cloud first” Android phone, has announced the plans to enter India market with the launch of its smartphone “Nextbit Robin” in May 2016.  The smartphone is already available in US market for approximately US $400.  Founded by CEO Tom Moss and CTO Mike Chan — who worked at Google on the Android team, Nextbit Robin highlights their vision that smartphones should be simpler, leaner and smarter by harnessing the potential of cloud.



Users get all the latest security and safety features including a fingerprint sensor. In the US market, Robin comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display in a unique and bold plastic body. When Readers are required to perform a specific application function, a specially configured One ID called the Location ID is used to provide the reader with additional instructions specific to the location. The Readers require connection to the Internet that enables the transfer of data to the specified location. The HIVE reader in its simplest form transfers data via serial or USB to any PC or Android device. The following network modules can be used to connect the Hive Reader to the Internet - GSM, Wi-Fi, Blue tooth or Ethernet. Our integrated mobile Reader is ideally suited to mobile applications.

Hive Readers can be configured to transmit data to a central network device from where it is transferred to specified data destinations. The hardware is complimented with generic configurable software modules that can be used on Windows, iOS and Android and allow solution architects to deploy solutions specific to a variety of applications. Data can be logged in a local SQL database or transferred directly to the specified destination.

Huawei Y3 II And Y5 II Smartphones Go Official

Huawei has silently launched two new smartphones, Y3 II and Y5 II in its Y-series. These
smartphones are listed on the Huawei website, but the pricing has not be revealed yet.



Huawei Y3 II features a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and the Y5 II that comes with a 5-inch HD display. Both the devices run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS on top of EMUI 3.1. The Huawei Y3 II sports a 5 MP primary camera and 2 MP front facing camera. Airtel launches 4G in Guruvayoor & Kottayam, expands 4G to 150 towns in Kerala.

Bharti Airtel Limited today announced the commercial launch of its high speed 4G services (also called LTE) in Guruvayoor & Kottayam, taking the number of its 4G towns in Kerala to 150. Now, customers across the state can experience high speed wireless broadband on Airtel 4G and get on to the digital superhighway to enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images. 

Airtel has led the 4G story in India, having launched India’s first 4G network in Kolkata in April 2012. Airtel had announced in February 2015 that it has started deploying India’s first commercial LTE-Advanced (4G+) network in Kerala that can deliver mobile data speeds up to 135 Mbps. To get started on Airtel 4G, customers can walk into their nearest Airtel Store and switch to a 4G SIM.

Enjoy Free Public Wi-Fi Service By Railtel And Google At Ten Indian Railway Stations

Indian Railway’s arm Railtel which provides Internet services as RailWire via its extensive fiber network along with Google today announced the launch of free high-speed public Wi-Fi service at nine new railway stations. 



After the first launch at Mumbai Central, starting today users in Pune, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Ranchi, Raipur, Vijayawada, Kacheguda (Hyderabad), Ernakulum Jn (Kochi) and Vishakhapatnam will be able to access the network using their smartphones for free. 

The service built over the fiber network of Raitel is designed to offer high speed broadband experience to users. Travelers passing through these stations will now be able to easily stream a high definition video while they’re waiting, research their destination, download a book or a new game for their journey. Google is committed to work with Indian Railways and Railtel to deliver high-speed Wi-Fi network that will be available to 10 million Indians a day by the end of the year, covering 100 of the busiest train stations in India. The project will be eventually rolled out to cover 400 train stations across India.

Sony launches the A68 A-mount camera featuring 4D focus

Sony India has launched the innovative A68 (ILCA-68). The A68 inherits many pro-style features from the much acclaimed A77M2 and features Sony’s unique 4D FOCUS system.



This phase detection system uses no less than 79 autofocus detection points including 15 cross points, plus a dedicated F2.8 AF sensor point. And thanks to Sony’s unique Translucent Mirror Technology, the A68 delivers constant AF tracking at up to 8fpsii continuous shooting.
